The house of architect Jozef Schellekens is given an honorable place in the book ‘Homes for Modernists’, published by Lannoo Publishers. Special thanks to Thijs Demeulemeester and Jan Verlinde for the beautiful reportage.
Since the house was renovated in 2012 under the direction of his grandson, architect Luc Vanhout, on the occasion of ‘Turnhout, Cultural Capital of Flanders’, it has received much national and international attention. The house is currently inhabited by interior architect Rik Hendrickx of Architects in Motion.
