On September 28, 2024, we had the pleasure of welcoming Gerlin Heestermans from Toerist Modernist to the parental home of architect Jozef Schellekens. She brought together an enthusiastic group of 60 visitors, whom we divided into four smaller groups. This allowed everyone to fully enjoy the insights and stories of the guide and curator of the Architectural Conservation Trust, Jan Vanhout, the great-grandson of Jozef Schellekens.
It was a pleasant day during which the guests, coming from every corner of Belgium, participated in the tour with great interest and appreciation. It was a special experience for everyone, in a house rich in history and architectural beauty.
