Ramsel-Herselt Girls’ School

Schoolstraat 26, 2230 Ramsel – Herselt
1947 – 1951

The former girls’ school, designed by J. Schellekens in 1947, consists of two perpendicular wings of two stories under tiled gable roofs. The building is executed in modest brick architecture with rectangular wall openings, complemented by later-added canopied galleries. The school is designed in a simple yet modern style, with both large windows and rows of smaller, square window openings. The plans for the furniture design, dating from October 1954, are also available.
