Restoration plans drawn up by architect Jules Taeymans in 1912, execution of the work in 1924 – 1927: roof and turret were renewed, windows repaired, walls doubled, wooden wainscoting replaced by oak panelling, porch executed in oak, communion rail and pulpit stripped. In 1934, an iron fan was placed above the new entrance door, manufactured by the Vocational and Industrial School. In 1951, work was again carried out on the roof, and in 1954 – 1955, under the direction of Jozef Schellekens, the interior was painted.
